Starters

Pressed terrine of chicken & herbs served with fig chutney & pepper oil

Pan fried king scallops served with pea puree & black pudding

Rillette of hot & cold smoked salmon served with micro green salad & tartar sauce

Baked Dunsyre cheese custard with toasted walnut crust & rocket salad

Slivers of beef fillet pan fried & served on ratatouille with pesto dressing

Woodland mushroom soup Or Mandarin sorbet

Mains

Roast breast of chicken accompanied by sage mashed potato, baby carrots & shallot cream sauce

Grilled monkfish served on herb risotto with saffron sauce

Loin of Stewartry lamb served with turnip fondant, roast potatoes, Savoy cabbage & Madeira sauce

Galloway beef fillet simply served with Pont Neuf potatoes, wild mushrooms & tarragon sauce

Puff pastry tart of roasted peppers & pesto topped with Parmesan cheese & a walnut & pine kernel salad

All red meats will be served pink unless otherwise requested

Cylinder of chocolate filled with white chocolate mousse, shortbread and raspberry jelly

Iced green apple parfait served with apple sorbet and cinnamon syrup

Glazed lemon tart with raspberry compote and a Lemon curd

Assiette of red berry, consists of strawberry and vanilla tart, chilled raspberry mousse and strawberry ice cream

Rhubarb trifle layered with rhubarb compote, almond sponge & fresh cream

Vanilla crème brulee with Balcary shortbread and berries

A selection of Scottish cheeses with Balcary Bay chutney, apple, grapes and biscuits from the following;

Mull of Kintyre – extra mature Scottish cheddar made from cows milk and produced in Campbeltown

Dunsyre Blue- blue veined hard cheese made from cow’s milk in Lanarkshire

Clava – soft organic brie made from cow’s milk in Milton of Connage/Inverness

Black Crowdie/Gruth Dhu – creamy cows milk rolled in pinhead oatmeal and black pepper made in Tain

Inverloch – hard mature goats cheese from the Mull of Kintyre

Freshly ground coffee and hand made petit fours
